Jolian Stephens joined TRINICY in the summer of 2023. She has mentored a young woman from South Africa for over a year in a remote capacity, covering topics of faith, academics, and business. MEET JOLIAN I'm honored to share a bit about myself and my journey with TRINICY. As a Christian woman, my deepest desire is to live a life that pleases God and reflects His love and grace to others. I believe that one powerful way to do this is through mentorship and sharing the knowledge and testimony that God has graciously bestowed upon me. My background as an entrepreneur and consultant has provided me with unique experiences and insights that I am eager to impart to others. When I learned about TRINICY and its mission to support and mentor students internationally, I was immediately drawn to the opportunity to make a difference and bear good fruits for the kingdom of God. Joining TRINICY has been a blessing beyond measure. The organization's commitment to nurturing spiritual growth, academic success, and personal development aligns perfectly with my own values and aspirations. It has been incredibly fulfilling to walk alongside mentees like Mulanga, witnessing their transformation and growth as they navigate their faith and pursue their dreams. In summary, my journey with TRINICY has been a testament to the power of mentorship and the incredible impact it can have on both mentors and mentees alike. I am grateful for the opportunity to serve and contribute to such a meaningful cause. JOIN THE GREAT COMMISSION!

Leighton Lunger joined TRINICY because of the Great Commission, and "a desire to grow in discipleship and use my spiritual gifts, a passion for encouraging young people, and because I believe God is calling me to this!" MEET LEIGHTON "My name is Leighton Lunger and I recently became a mentor with TRINICY after God laid it on my heart the need for more Christian mentorship in our communities! I have had wonderful mentors since middle school and love what TRINICY stands for. I also felt like God was calling me to start a business/ ministry to provide Christian curriculum for girls to use with a mentor. He laid the name “Pray Her Forward” on my heart and told me it was to focus on how valuable we are as Daughters of the King - “more precious than pearls'' (Proverbs 3:15). " "I am now in "Print School" to write and design a “pearl-themed” mentorship curriculum for girls ages 13-25 on 12 relatable topics to remind mentees how precious they are to God! I will continue to cheer the TRINICY mentors and mentees on for the amazing discipleship they are providing to one another and am so thankful for this organization!" THE PRAY HER FORWARD STORY "It all began with realizing the undeniable Power of Prayer. In August 2015, the first “Spiritual Sistas’” small group began in the living room of my home. I felt totally unequipped to lead a bible study, but thought if I just opened my home, the Lord would show up… and He surely did! We grew to a group of ten ladies from 20 to 40, all of us with different stories and in different stages of life. We began our first study together and made sure that at every gathering, we fervently and intentionally PRAYED for one another…. and then shared and celebrated those answers to prayer. And they came. And kept coming. We saw healing, breakthroughs, mended relationships, more healing, pregnancies, new jobs, opened doors, closed doors, and salvations. We confidently agreed that, “If the spiritual sistas’ are praying for it, get ready, it’ll happen!” It was EXCITING. Our faith grew. In August 2020, a second small group (also appropriately named the “Spiritual Sistas’” was formed, and God moved again. From God’s faithfulness and an observed need in our communities, launched the idea to “Pray Her Forward© (PHF).” (Read the rest on the Pray Her Forward website HERE. JOIN THE GREAT COMMISSION!

Daniel George, a TRINICY Mentee discipled for nearly 4 years by Pastor Grady Root, joins James Madison University's faculty. MEET DANIEL "My name is Daniel George, and I have been a part of the TRINICY Community for almost 4 years now. TRINICY has immensely impacted my spiritual growth through the mentorship it has provided me. Ever since I began grad school, my mentor Grady has faithfully been there to encourage me, pray for me, and guide me through Scripture. " PROFESSIONAL UPDATE "I now serve as a newly-hired faculty member with Undergraduate Psychology at James Madison University, the same university I got to attend as a student. Loving and serving the Lord at the university He has placed [me] has its blessings and challenges, but I'm blessed by how Grady has poured into me so that I am able to faithfully follow Jesus by loving God and loving my neighbors -- especially those of different backgrounds and beliefs than my own. I have immense gratitude to TRINICY for arranging this discipleship and giving me a community and network of believers!" WHY APPLY TO TRINICY? "I want to be exposed to a wide variety of Christian conservatives focused on student experiences, and I think it would be fun to have a mentorship this summer. " WHO'S YOUR IDEAL MENTOR? "Someone who values listening to understand, seeks wisdom, loves discipline, loves people, and their favorite word in the Bible is Grace. Someone with an outstanding knowledge of scripture, too." WHO BECAME DANIEL'S MENTOR? Pastor Grady Root of Maricopa Springs Family Church answered the call to disciple this young man! Here's a glimpse into what would turn out to be a years-long mentorship and discipleship relationship between Daniel and Grady! WHAT DANIEL'S MENTOR HAS TO SAY Pastor Grady Root: "I continue to believe that TRINICY is an excellent way to address the lack of discipleship present in the church. The video format is not my favorite, but considering I wouldn't even know Daniel George apart from TRINICY's approach to connect people through technology, I love it and I'm thankful for the format that has allowed me to know Daniel." WHY DID GRADY CHOOSE TO BECOME A MENTOR? "I joined TRINICY as a mentor because of the vision to help isolated students feel connected and confident in the goodness of Jesus. I love the opportunity to meet with my mentee and study God's word together so that we can both be encouraged by grace and truth. Every Christian should be engaged in some kind of discipleship, and TRINICY makes that mandate very accessible. If you are looking for a way to stay grounded in your faith while growing in your understanding of God's word, TRINICY is for YOU! This program is an excellent way to fight isolation, discouragement, and doubt as you walk with Jesus." JOIN THE GREAT COMMISSION!
Daniel's story, along with Pastor Grady's, exemplifies the mission of TRINICY's Online Mentorship Program—to support and nurture the academic and especially spiritual growth of Christian students and scholars in the United States and worldwide. We need more biblical Christians like Daniel teaching in our colleges and universities. Please pray for him and other teachers, lecturers, and professors serving in the mission field of academia. We also need more Christians like Pastor Grady, who see the critical need for discipleship among our youth and young adults, especially those who are feeling isolated and alone in our post-Christian culture! Newton attended a graduation ceremony organized by the International Association for Theological Accreditation (IATA) and the International Institute of Arts & Theology (IIAT). He was one of 112 students graduating with a PhD, D. Min, M. Th, M.A, MBA, M. Div, B.A, B. Th, and Diploma programs. Newton noted that he enjoyed the fact that the whole event included praise, worship, as well as a powerful sermon delivery. MEET NEWTON Meet K. Newton Babu, a remarkable young man from India who has experienced the transformative power of faith and mentorship through TRINICY's Online Mentorship Program. A JOURNEY OF FAITH AND RESILIENCE Newton’s journey began in a household where his mother was a devoted Christian, while his father did not share the same faith. Despite this, his mother’s unwavering belief in Jesus Christ guided Newton towards a Christian path from a young age. In 2011, when Newton was just 14, his family faced a life-altering challenge: his father suffered a severe brain stroke that left him paralyzed. The doctors had little hope, but his mother’s faith never wavered. Through constant prayer and the support of their church, they witnessed a miraculous recovery, which solidified Newton’s faith in God's presence and healing power. STRUGGLES & TRIUMPHS The strain of his father’s illness and the influence of worldly friends led Newton to stray from his spiritual path and his studies suffered. However, God’s grace was upon him. He secured a seat in an engineering program in Hyderabad, where he stayed with his cousin's family who were actively involved in church ministry and orphan care. This period marked a turning point in Newton’s life as he immersed himself in ministry activities, learning humility, love, and service. Newton graduated with a Masters in Divinity in 2024 in Bangalore, India. ACADEMIC & SPIRITUAL GROWTH Despite facing numerous challenges, including a severe bout of dengue fever, Newton's resilience and faith saw him through. He paused his engineering studies to pursue theological education, earning multiple degrees, including a Bachelor of Theology and a Bachelor of Divinity. This educational journey, guided by Rev. Prof. M. Reynold Wesley, equipped Newton with the skills to minister in villages, engage with people, and plant churches. A TESTAMENT OF TRANSFORMATION In 2018, Newton publicly declared his faith through baptism, and by 2019, he had completed his engineering degree. In 2020, he began his M.Tech in Thermal Engineering and continued his theological studies, enrolling in an M.Div program in 2021. Newton’s story is a powerful testimony of transformation—once deemed unlikely to succeed by many, he now holds multiple degrees and is a source of guidance and inspiration to others. IMPACT OF TRINICY'S MENTORSHIP Through TRINICY’s Online Mentorship Program, Newton has found additional support and guidance. His mentors have been instrumental in helping him navigate both academic and spiritual challenges, providing encouragement and wisdom along his journey. LOOKING FORWARD Newton's story is a beacon of hope and inspiration, demonstrating that with faith, resilience, and the right support, one can overcome any obstacle. As he continues his studies and ministry work, Newton looks forward to making a lasting impact in his community and beyond, all for the glory of God. His current goal is to pursue further studies in the United States. JOIN THE GREAT COMMISSION!

By Monique De Leon | TRINICY.org Monique De Leon has served as a TRINICY Mentor to three different young women Hello everyone. My name is Monique De Leon. I am a worship leader, author, speaker and mentor. I have traveled throughout the U.S. as well as 18 countries ministering through worship and speaking and teaching the word of God. TRINICY CHRISTIAN MENTOR I have had the honor to be apart of TRINICY’s mentoring program. I have had the privilege to mentor 3 young ladies so far. One in Jr. High, one in High school and one in College. For 11 years I was life group leader for young adults. So, when I found out about TRINICY and the format of the mentorship program I knew I wanted to be a part of it. I have a passion to see people grow spiritually, which is why mentorship is near to my heart. THRIVING IN SINGLEHOODAs someone who has had a close relationship with God since I was a little girl, I have gained some wisdom and knowledge that I want to pass onto others that I know will help them grow in their walk with Christ. Which has led me to start a mentorship program for Christian singles called: Thriving in Singlehood. As a Christian single myself who is still believing God for marriage and children, I can fully relate to those who have struggled in their singleness. So this program will encourage, bring insight, and help my fellow singles gain more confidence in Christ as they are in this waiting season. JOIN THE GREAT COMMISSION!

By Elisheba Delote | TRINICY.org Grace & Elisheba are twin sisters who are serving as Mentors through TRINICY. They first heard about TRINICY through the Unshaken Conference. We started off driving all the way to the Capitol in Sacramento to fight a proposition for late-term abortion that unfortunately went through in CA. We were so sad on the way back home, but in our hearts, we knew God has a bigger win coming up. That’s when, after a week, Roe vs. Wade was overturned. Ever since then, we have been fighting for the unborn and helping mothers to do the right thing through LoveLife, LifeChoice, FirstChoice, WhiteRose Resistance, and Survivors.Us. Now, through Survivors.Us, we are currently fighting an evil entity that prides itself on murdering babies while alive at UCSF. They are recruiting healthy young women who are pregnant between 18-24 weeks and harvesting the healthy baby alive to get their organs. This is a big fight, but no Goliath can’t be conquered with our Lord Jesus on our side. A Troubled Walk, Part I | Your Average American Christian College Student Encounters Social Justice2/26/2024 By Cameron A. Andrade | TRINICY.org The small doughnut shop wafted the wonderful smell of freshly baked Vanilla Cream and glazed doughnuts frosted with nearly every niche flavor one could imagine. So, as Tony was walking to class, he couldn’t help but allow his long, lanky legs to carry him inside so he could order his favorite maple sugar doughnut. Tony had always believed he knew God; he’d been going to the same Baptist Church in Missouri he’d been baptized in as a child. He loved God, he always had, or at least he thought. He had many memories of the praise and worship team singing his favorite songs, the pastor preaching about God’s love for the poor and downtrodden, and how his plan for your life was always better than you could ever imagine. So, when Maria from Comp Sci invited him to her school’s chapter of Get Justice Now, Tony was very ecstatic. After all, the God he believed in loved the poor and the helpless, so wouldn’t he want Tony to do everything and anything in his power to be a good servant of those who truly needed him? In fact, it was this feeling of congratulatory self-satisfaction which preoccupied his mind as he was munching down on his maple sugar doughnut. Such was the rush with which Tony dashed out of the doughnut shop so as to not miss his Microeconomics class that he was already a couple hundred feet from the Econ building on his campus. Just outside the building’s entrance stood several bright blue grated steel picnic tables, their surfaces bare as they stood like astute blue islands in a sea of ash white concrete. As he was now briskly walking to class, Tony was giving the pamphlet Maria gave him a cursory review; his friends had dubbed him the king of multitasking for a reason. He was reading about the necessity of combating the inequality and division so often seen in society by recognizing that everyone’s misery could be better contextualized and addressed by understanding that everyone was really the victim of the same hateful system that had oppressed them all. “So, in order to defeat the scourge of systemic inequality, we must recognize our intersectional oppression by the heteronormative, capitalist elite.” Tony read that last part aloud. Then he read it again, his brisk walk turning into a slower stride. This all seemed very confusing to Tony. “What’s all this talk about intersectionality? I just want to help people,” Tony thought to himself as he neared the Econ building entrance. As he opened the door, he brusquely shoved the pamphlet into his back pocket and sprinted to the open classroom door. Professor Rosenbaum had just started speaking. Tony could hardly pay attention to the lecture as his mind was preoccupied with what he had read only a few moments ago. “I may not understand everything that’s in that pamphlet, but if God wants me to help people, then I guess I should be willing to be open minded.” Despite being confused by the strange language he was confronted with; despite some lingering doubts welling up in his chest combined with a feeling that something just wasn’t right, Tony walked out of Professor Rosenbaum’s class, fairly confident that whatever he was getting himself into, he was doing the right thing. Had Tony committed himself to a study of God’s word daily, had he surrounded himself with other believers who could have built him up in the faith, had he received spiritual mentorship grounded in the truth of God’s word, he would not only have not been lead astray by the world and its teachings, but also could have more easily stood up to ideas that, while appearing good, actually lead people away from service that actually helps people and gives glory to God. Fortunately, many amazing ministries like TRINICY exist to ensure that believers like Tony have a firm foundation in the faith and are surrounded by people who will lead them and build them up rather than distract them and deconstruct their biblical worldview. Whatever your political leanings happen to be, it is always important to remember that if you are more involved with worldly change on earth than you are with pleasing your Father in heaven, you may want to consider directing more of your creative energy towards serving God. If this story spoke to you personally or if you want to know about what it truly means to be a Christian, then you should definitely continue to explore TRINICY further or, better yet, pick up that Bible that’s been collecting dust on your nightstand and see if God may be trying to tell you something. By Thaddeus Sanches | TRINICY.org Thaddeus Sanchez first joined TRINICY as a Mentee in the Fall of 2023. He has been working with the same mentor since. MEET THADDEUSMy name is Thaddeus. I’m 24 and just starting college with the goal of attending Biola University to get a B.A. in Biblical Studies. I first encountered the gospel while in jail back in 2019. During October of that year, I decided to believe in Jesus as Lord and Savior. From that time until now I have grown tremendously in faith and most importantly in relationship with God. That was the reason I joined TRINICY - to grow in faith and deepen my relationship with God through discipleship of a more mature faith mentor. TRINICY was actually an answer to my prayer for mentorship. Long story short I went to a conference and the first information I read was about TRINICY, a mentorship program! Getting to know my mentor, Dave, has been great, including hearing his stories and knowledge with his background of someone who is seasoned in the field of ministry. The best part about it though is the knowledge and wisdom he is able to pass down to me. I am very blessed and thankful for the works that TRINICY has done! WANT MENTORSHIP? In the heart of TRINICY's global mentorship community, powerful stories of connection and transformation unfold, showcasing the profound impact of Christ-centered relationships. TRINICY MENTORSHIP: BRIDGING LIVESMeet Thabelo, a mentee from South Africa, whose journey with TRINICY transcended beyond mentorship. Recently, Thabelo celebrated a joyous milestone – her wedding. What made this occasion even more special was the presence of her mentor, Samantha Botha, alongside a dear friend and fellow mentee, Retang. Samantha, Retang, and Thabelo's shared experience in TRINICY not only fostered mentor-mentee relationships but forged bonds that extend to life's significant moments. Thabelo's wedding became a testament to the enduring connections formed within the program. This story reflects the essence of TRINICY – a platform where mentorship is not just a temporary alliance but a foundation for lifelong relationships. The common thread weaving these connections together is Christ, the unifying force that glues mentors and mentees across the globe. In TRINICY, the impact of mentorship reaches beyond geographical boundaries, creating a community where milestones are shared, and lives are intertwined. As we celebrate Thabelo's wedding, we recognize that this is just one of many stories echoing the transformative power of Christ-centered mentorship within the TRINICY family. IN THABELO'S OWN WORDSI am Thabelo also known as Thabie from South Africa. I joined TRINICY in 2020 while I was still a student on campus. In the past few years as a mentee, I have been mentored by Samantha, Robin, and Julie. I spent most of 2023 on a break in order to prepare and plan for my wedding. I recently got married to Reginald, who has been a friend of mine from university. Reginald was the one who witnessed the gospel to me before salvation. His desire to marry me was more evident from November 2022 when he pursued me. on July 1st 2022, he asked me to marry him and I said "Yes". We both didn't want to be engaged for a long time. Our wedding day was the most joyful day of my life. We then planned our wedding to be on the 16th of December 2023. Our wedding day was the most joyful day of my life. I had Samantha (my former mentor) as one of our wedding guests. Retang, who is still part of TRINICY, was my maid of honor. The most wonderful part of my wedding was to see our families and friends being exposed to sound teaching, something my husband and I have been praying for.
Thabelo with her bridesmaids and maid of honor, Retang, who is on the right FELLOW MENTEE ATTENDS AS MAID OF HONORRetang, a fellow Mentee in the mentorship program, had this to say about the event: "Samantha, Thabie, and I had the best time ever. Our time together was fulfilling. I thank God for such lovely Christian women. We're praying for a second installment as soon as God allows it, and we're trusting that one day we'll fly to the U.S. to join the meetings that side!" After the wedding, I moved from Johannesburg to follow my husband in Limpopo, where I will be serving alongside my husband. I am so thankful to the Lord for this wonderful gift of marriage. Please continue to pray for Reginald and I as we build our home together that we may do all things for the glory of God. WANT MENTORSHIP?If you're inspired to be part of this incredible journey, consider joining TRINICY'S Online Mentorship Program.
