EREVNO: (Greek)
Research, Investigate, Search

Hello!  This page is dedicated to truth-passionate, conservative Christian students looking for engaging, inspiring and powerful ideas for the papers due in their classes today.  Your thinking, ideas, and your writing matter.  The topics below are intended to be relevant and profoundly illuminating in your learning, writing, thinking, and growth as a conservative Christian student in this generation.  Students are also welcome to submit their completed papers for Trinicy ([email protected]) to digitally share, either anonymously or with full credit given.  This will also encourage and inspire other students who read your papers.  If you wish, your professor's response to your paper can also be shared.  (Additional instructions are at the bottom of this page).  Thank you, and never stop honoring Christ in your thinking, ideas, writing and growth.  We're with you, and we're cheering you on!

Topic #1
Investigating the Climate Change Narrative
Papers written on Topic #1 will grapple with and illuminate one or more of the Focus Areas below:
.
Focus Area #1
What is the current climate change narrative as commonly expressed in public education and mainstream media circles?  Is the science unanimous and monolithic here, or something more complex, and controversial, but capable of clarity?  Is there any substantive scientific evidence against the current climate change narrative?  Form and articulate a well-grounded investigation into to the popular climate change narrative.  Present a winsome conclusion in which key discoveries and the meaning of your research are discussed.
.
Focus Area #2
What is a Biblically-consistent, and well-evidenced position regarding this topic, and that brings much needed truth and insight to the current climate change narrative?  Bonus: What does our stewardship of Creation look like according to the Christian worldview?

Topic #2
Investigating the Gender Controversy
Papers written on Topic #2 will grapple with and illuminate one or more of the Focus Areas below:
.
Focus Area #1
What do the Plant and Animal Kingdoms and their regular operations indicate about the nature of gender (i.e. whether it is fluid or binary)?  (Optional: Discuss any exceptions in comparison with the prevailing pattern).  Discuss gender in the context of human beings, and how human beings (historically, genetically, biologically, etc...) follow nature's pattern as observed in the Plant and Animal Kingdom.  (This is not to reduce human beings to mere animals).  Consider the profound male-female differences, biological compatibility, and polarity and how the profundity of marital sex and procreation enabled by these unique and profound differences, yields benefits for human thriving, and empowers the continuation of life.  Absent cultural conditioning, and if these scientific observations were our only input, what scientific conclusions can we reach about human gender, and whether it is fluid, malleable, and trivial, or binary, durable, and profound?
.
Focus Area #2:
Discuss the concept of gender-as-malleable and femininity-as-valuable.  Are these two ideas/values compatible?  Or do they deeply contest and challenge one another?  Why is the conflict between transgender activists and feminist activists so heated?  Who are the real deniers?  Which position is stronger in light of evidence, science, reason, and most importantly for orthodoxy, Scriptural insight?  Unpack this discussion and its cultural dynamics.  Explore this subject with research, science, intelligent thought, kindness, truth, and with powerful insights from the Christian worldview.

Topic #3
Investigating Human Thriving
Papers written on Topic #3 will grapple with and illuminate the Focus Area below:
.
Focus Area #1:
Throughout history, what are the Top 5-7 observable societal/cultural factors which most enable human beings to thrive?  (Possible Examples: A sense of the sacred, consequences for law-breaking and selfishness, moral restraints within government and the individual, a rigorous freedom, a shared sense of the heroic and tales that inspire, shared harmony in ethics and values, a diligent work ethic, accountability and the sense of afterlife, etc...)  We can refer to these as Factors Enabling Human Thriving (FEHT).  What factors are at odds with human thriving, and introduce societal decay?  What were the historical specific outcomes when these factors were present, and the historical specific outcomes when they were absent?  Are these historical observations consistent with the values and cultural conditioning of our generation, or do they indict it?  How does this inform us today, and how should these discoveries shape our national conversation, and our cultural, moral, and spiritual direction?  Historically, in current practice, and also conceptually, which worldviews or faith-systems are most opposed (or least conducive) to these Factors for Thriving?  Conversely, which worldview(s) or faith-system(s) is/are most conducive to these Factors for Thriving?  In what ways are leftism and secular humanism enemies to these FEHT?  In what ways is the Judeo-Christian tradition a great and unique friend to these FEHT?  Unpack these implications.  What does this mean?

Topic #4
Leftist Aggression and a Winning Counter-Strategy
Papers written on Topic #4 will grapple with and illuminate one or more of the Focus Areas below:

.
Focus Area #1:
Is the left interested in neutrality and objectivity?  Lately, why has the left jettisoned these values (which their liberal predecessors used to champion), and declared war on all things conservative and Christian?  Why, from a side of the aisle that used to champion tolerance, do we now see strident demands for conformity to their agenda, attempts to silence dissent, and clawing for a monopoly over culture and its ideas, institutions, values, and narrative?  (This is not to despair.  It is to identify the opposition, and to engage effectively).  Does the left like the benefits of appearing to be neutral for PR reasons, but without any of neutrality's limits on their actual goals, which are anything but benign or complacent?  What is leftism's ultimate driver and end-game?  What is their track record in cities like San Francisco, Detroit, Chicago, and at the southern border?  Are these desirable glimpses of paradise, or bastions of chaos from which even ideologically/politically unaffiliated people flee?  What does this mean for the neutrality, merit, success, desirability and future of leftist ideas?  Does the left care about those their ideas hurt (including kids), or are these people trivial casualties under the wheels of their passionate crusade?  What would the Founding Fathers say about leftism?  The Constitution?  What does common sense/pragmatism tell us?  What does The Holy Bible say?  What does leftism's lack of neutrality mean for the culture war today?  Is America waking up to the fact that the left was never compassionate or humanitarian?  What does Jesus say about evil vs. good, and darkness vs. light?  Is there a middle ground in the culture war for us?  Is neutrality an option today?  Is the left interested in compatible co-existence with an intellectually diverse population?  Or are their aims more toward securing control and establishing conformity to their agenda?  The more leftism reveals its ugly head, why does neutrality vanish as an option, and the call to fight become paramount?  Also, the more leftism shows their cards, the more the mask comes off, the light shines on what leftism really is, and America is better positioned to identify it, reject it, and recognize the need for and supremacy of Jesus Christ.  What is our Biblical mandate in response to leftism destroying everything it touches (including the border, sex, and childhood education)?  Is neutrality and passivity our calling?  Or is it time for conservative Christians to draw a line in the sand, rise up, and fight for what is good, and exalt Jesus Christ as the only solid foundation and hope for a lasting and thriving civilization?  What can you and other conservative Christians begin to do?  Map out a winning strategy.
