MentorJim is first and foremost a listener, secondly a communicator. He taught over 1800 credit hours at the college and graduate level for over twenty five years, and had a reputation of challenging his students to think more carefully, act more responsibly, and serve more compassionately. He was an accomplished businessman and was one of the most educated and trained conflict specialists in the Midwest. He is now retired and enjoying cabin living in the mountains of West Virginia.
Jim has served in the Christian community for over 40 years, teaching Bible studies, mentoring young Christians, preaching, teaching Sunday school. He has five children and fifteen grandchildren, all of whom are extremely bright and good looking – however, God looks at the inward man! Jim attended Bible college at Grace College of the Bible, got a Bachelor’s degree at UNO majoring in Religion and minoring in History. Afterwards, he earned a Master’s degree in Classics (classical languages) majoring in Koine Greek with a triple minor in Latin, Classical Philosophy and Classical Religion. He also then earned a Juris Doctor degree (law degree) at Creighton University. |
