Director (President), MentorI currently live in Eastern NC and have been since I retired from the US Marine Corps in 2016. I was born in Puerto Rico and raised in the states. My faith journey was a very hectic one. I was raised Roman Catholic and when I left home and joined the Marines I stepped away from my faith. I let my doubts and questions keep me away from God and stepping into a relationship with Jesus Christ. I went through a divorce after 13 years of marriage and found myself depressed and searching for purpose.
In my search I briefly experienced other world religions until I found myself on my knees, praying to Jesus. I met my current wife shortly after and her faith was inspirational and unshakable; it caused me to study even more fervently. Apologetics was a big factor in me building my faith since it addressed a lot of my intellectual hang ups. I was baptized in 2017 and have been seeking God’s words and understanding ever since. I assist in children’s ministry every month. I served three and a half (3.5) years in a previous church as the Children Ministry Director. I’ve also led quite a few Sunday morning adult Bible study sessions and small group studies. My wife and I have been married since 2017 and our blended family have six (7) kids total. It’s never a dull day, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. |
Monica Evans |
Director (Secretary), MentorMonica Evans is a new Creation because of Christ alone through faith alone. The foundation of her worldview is the Bible. She studied Psychology at the Peruvian Union University and holds a Bachelors in Human Services and Management from the University of Phoenix. Born and raised in Peru, Monica moved to the United States because of love and commitment. She has been happily married for 18 years and is a mom to a tween and a teen. Monica enjoys traveling, hiking, writing, reading, and taking pictures. She stays engaged in the community by teaching and supporting different Native American non-profits and faith-based organizations. In all of this, Monica seeks to glorify God by using the talents and abilities He has gifted her. It is her desire to keep the faith each day and ultimately finish the race.

Lana Lynette

Director (Interim Treasurer), MentorLana Lynette is a corporate marketing professional with a bachelor's degree in Sociology from the University of California, Berkeley and a master's degree in communication from Johns Hopkins University. Lana was raised in a Christian home but only became a true believer and disciple of Christ once she saw the world through a biblical lens in her early 20s. Now, Lana hungers for Jesus and avidly looks for ways to learn more about the Truth so she can share it in unique ways via her Instagram page (@lynettelana) or her podcast (Reality with Lana Lynette). She heavily focuses her content creation around what she sees happening in the world by leveraging a biblical worldview.
Prior to becoming a board member, Lana Lynette was involved in TRINICY as a mentee and mentor. She has served in youth and junior high ministries and loves to conduct expositional Bible studies with other brothers and sisters in Christ. In 2022, by the grace and provision of the Lord, Lana and Tristan got engaged and were married, and together they are pup-parents to a poodle-chihuahua mix (Chloé) and owners of a beautiful home. |
Merzamie Clark

Merzamie Clark is an educational leader passionate about advancing Christian excellence in academia. A Philippine-born American, Clark graduated from the University of Washington with a BA in English Language & Literature and Comparative History of Ideas. She was awarded the university’s College of Arts & Science’s Dean’s Medal in the Humanities in 2013, and subsequently served two grant years as an English Teacher and U.S. cultural ambassador in South Korea through the Fulbright Program. In 2015, she returned to her alma mater to pursue an MA/PhD in English as a Top Scholar Fellow. She founded TRINICY in 2018 as an effort to create a worldwide coalition of Bible-Believing Christian scholars and supporters standing up for the unfettered pursuit of truth in academia through free inquiry and the open exchange of ideas.

We are in a spiritual war and in constant battle with the adversary. The only weapon we have that was given to us from God is His armor, God’s Armor, His WORD. I have been in battle since I was brought into this world. My birth name has always been Elisheba, “God is my oath/promise.” Growing up, my name was changed without my knowledge, unaware that it was changed from a Hebrew name, Elisheba, to a Western name, Elizabeth. However, I learned that God is in control, a truth that was revealed itself to me during school. Message me and get to know me so I can tell you the full story. In the area of my other proficient expertise are; I have been an RN for almost 20+ years (in the field of Correctional, Public Health, MedSurg, L&D, and Surgery). I have been in Leadership roles as a Charge Nurse as well as Team Leader in a hospital setting. I am currently a volunteer as a Nurse in Pregnancy Clinics at First Choice FCPS NV. I am a CoChair of TPMOMS Coalition in Henderson NV. An active leader in the Prolife movement. A Cofounder of TNE (Travellingnurseevangelist), as well an active Board Member of TRINICY. God has been the driver of my life even as I planned it, the Lord directs my path. How I found TRINICY is also in God’s handwriting. In short, He led me through them, physically. The rest is history. |
